  • The report comes with the stone

Every stone we list as unheated carries a report from GIA, GRS, SSEF, Gubelin or NGJA. The scan sits on the stone's own page, and the report number can be checked directly with the laboratory.

  • Treatment stated, always

Heated, unheated, or not determined. It is written on every stone in the same place. Most heated sapphire on the market is sold without saying so, which is the main reason buyers get burned.

  • Bought where they come out

We buy in Sri Lanka rather than through a chain of dealers, which is why a stone here costs less than the same stone after three middlemen have taken a turn.

See the stone move before you buy it

A photograph flatters a gemstone. Colour shifts between daylight and lamplight, a star moves as the stone tilts, and a flat image hides both. We film stones under a single light so you can see what you are actually buying from several thousand miles away.

  1. Write to us about a stone, or tell us what you are hunting for.
  2. We send more photographs, video, and the certificate.
  3. It ships insured and tracked, with the export paperwork handled.
