A natural unheated orchid violet sapphire of 1.11 ct, oval cut, eye clean to the naked eye. The certificate travels with the stone.
Watch the video before you judge the colour. This stone reads blue at some angles and violet at others, which is normal for Ceylon material in this range and is the reason a single photograph is not much use. Outdoors it leans blue. Under a warmer indoor light the violet comes forward.
Held in tweezers under natural daylight, with no colour correction applied.
