White Sapphire from Sri Lanka

White sapphire is corundum with no colour. It reads brighter and less fiery than diamond, which some buyers prefer and some do not, so it is worth seeing one on video before committing. At 9 on the Mohs scale it holds up in a ring worn every day, and it is usually untreated, so what you see is what came out of the ground.

We can still find you white sapphire

Nothing in this category is on the site at the moment. That is normal. Single stones sell, and what replaces them depends on what the cutters bring in that month rather than on a restocking schedule.

Most of what we sell never reaches the website. Tell us the weight, colour and budget you have in mind and we will look for it, then send photographs, video and the certificate before you commit to anything. If we cannot find it at a sensible price, we will say so.

  • Carat weight, or a range you are happy with
  • Colour, and whether it needs to be unheated
  • Your budget, which saves us both a week of guessing
  • When you need it, if there is a date
